Class of D3 Management logistics and Material 2014 School Of transportation Trisakti visited PT.Karya Citra Nusantara , Marunda , North Jakarta on Febuary 6 2016. We are saw and learned logistics activity at this port.such as activity to unloading coal .First, the coal that come by barge and then move to truck by using excavator.After that when all coal already finished move to truck ,

the truck must be weighed on the  tool to calculate the weight of coal.For know the net weight of the coal is to calculate the weight of the truck while still empty and decreased by the weight of the truck after a fully loaded coal.After weigh , coal delivery to costumer.

• The meaning of :

A. Jetty
 Jetty or pier is a pier jutting into the sea.
At the pier jetty type, usually ships can be docked on either side of the jetty.
Jetty is usually the direction of the shoreline and connected to the mainland by jembatanyang usually form an angle perpendicular to the jetty to jetty can take the form of letters T or L.

b. barge

Barge or pontoon is a type of vessel with a flat stomach or a big box that floats, used for transporting goods and towed by tugs or are used to accommodate the ebb and flow like the floating dock

c. Tug Boat 

Tugs  boat are vessels that can be used to maneuver / movement, the main pull or push other ships in the harbor, the open sea or by river or canal. Similarly tugboat used to pull barges, broken, and other equipment.

Sejarah Singkat STMT Trisakti

STMT Trisakti adalah salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di bawah Yayasan Trisakti. STMT Trisakti berlokasi di Jalan IPN nomor2, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jakarta Timur, 13410. Telp. (021) 851 6050 (hunting), Fax. (021) 856 9340.

tahun 1970 STMT Trisakti dikenal dengan nama Akademi Angkutan Udara Niaga (AAUN) Trisakti. Kemudian dengan Keputusan Mendikbud No.0332/O/1985 tanggal 27 Juli 1985 berubah menjadi Akademi Administrasi Udara Niaga Trisakti.

Selanjutnya berdasarkan Keputusan Mendikbud No.0860/O/1986 tanggal 6 Desember 1986, status dan nama lembaga ini ditingkatkan menjadi Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transpor Trisakti disingkat STMT Trisakti.

Ketika itu STMT Trisakti mengelola 2 (dua) Jenjang Pendidikan, yaitu:
a. Jenjang Pendidikan D.III
b. Jenjang Pendidikan D.IV

Tahun 1986, STMT Trisakti memperoleh izin dari DIKTI untuk menyelenggarakan Jenjang Pendidikan Diploma IV untuk Program Studi Manajemen Transpor Darat (D.IV MTD), berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI, Nomor : 0895 / O / 1986 tanggal 29 Desember 1986.

Tahun 1993, STMT Trisakti memperoleh izin dari DIKTI untuk menyelenggarakan Jenjang Pendidikan Diploma III untuk Program Studi Manajemen Transpor Laut (D.III MTL), berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Departemen dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor : 481/DIKTI/Kep/1993 tanggal 13 Agustus 1993, dengan Status TERDAFTAR.Berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor: 18/DIKTI/Kep/ 1998 tanggal 26 Januari 1998, Program Studi Diploma IV (D.IV) berubah menjadi Program Studi Strata 1 (S.I) Manajemen, dengan konsentrasi :

1.    Manajemen Transpor Udara (MTU)

2.    Manajemen Transpor Darat (MTD)

3.    Manajemen Transpor Laut (MTL).

Pada tahun 1998, STMT Trisakti memperoleh izin menyelenggarakan Jenjang Pendidikan Diploma III Program Studi Manajemen Logistik dan Material (D.III MLM), berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Departemen dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor : 194/DIKTI/Kep/1998 tanggal 15 Juni 1998, dengan Status TERDAFTAR.Pada tahun 2005, STMT Trisakti memperoleh izin operasional untuk penyelenggaraan Program Pasca Sarjana Magister Manajemen Transpor dan Logistik berdasarkan surat DIKTI No. 646/D/T/2005 tanggal 3 Maret 2005.

Padahal sebenarnya jurusan DIII adalah jurusan yang sumber daya manusia nya disiapkan untuk langsung masuk dan siap dalam dunia kerja,karena kita diajarkan suatu teori dan juga praktek nya.Pembimbing akademik saya mengatakan bahwa perbedaan SI dengan DIII diibaratkan seperti kita diajarkan tentang bagian bagian suatu sepeda dan cara pembuatannya. Jika SI diajarkan bagian bagian dari sepeda dan cara pembuatannya dengan teori dan secara berulang ulang tetapi DIII diajarkan teori bagian bagian sepeda dan cara pembuatannya dan setelah itu kita membuat sepeda tersebut bedasarkan teori yang telah diajarkan. contohnya seperti, sewaktu semester satu kami belajar tentang pengantar manajemen logistik dan diakhir pertemuan kami melakukan kunjungan ilmiah ke perusahaan besar, yaitu PT.Agility International dan PT Dirgantara Indonesia. Kami terbagi dalam beberapa kelompok dan setiap kelompok terdapat pemandu yang menejelaskan satu per satu kegiatan disana dan kami melihat langsung suatu proses barang di dalam suatu warehouse yang sangat besar dan dan juga melihat proses pembuatan pesawat di PT Dirgantara Indonesia.Tetapi setelah lulus DIII dan telah bekerja,melanjutkan kejenjang S1 sampai S2 pun juga sangat baik untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan yang lebih banyak lagi, saya pun berencana untuk melanjutkan pendidikan saya dengan hasil saya bekerja nanti. - Mengapa memilih Manajemen logistik dan Material ?  Atas rekomendasi dari senior saya sewaktu SMA yang saat ini sudah semester 5 di STMT Trisakti jurusan S1 manajemen logistik, dia menjelaskan tentang apa itu logistik kepada saya, bahwa logistik meliputi kegiatan pemindahan atau pengiriman barang menggunakan moda transportasi serta peyimpanan barang di dalam suatu warehouse dan di dalam warehouse tersebut terdapat tahap tahap kegiatan barang dari barang pertama masuk sampai barang dikirim kepada pelanggan.Dia juga mengatakan bahwa kegiatan logistik membutuhkan semua moda transportasi dan juga di setiap perusahaan pasti ada kegiatan logistik nya jadi lebih mudah untuk bekerja di dalam suatu perusahaan, baik itu perusahaan dalam bidang kelautan, perusahaan dalam bidang udara maupun perusahaan dalam bidang darat.Saya berfikir begitu menariknya melihat kegiatan dan proses suatu barang dari raw materials sampai menjadi finished goods dan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan hidup banyak orang.Melihat suatu warehouse dari perusahaan perusahaan ternama dan juga kegiatannya,melihat barang barang masuk ke dalam kapal besar menggunakan container, mengenal jenis jenis transportasi,serta kegiatan ekspor import barang. Itu adalah beberapa alasan saya mengapa saya memilih jurusan Diploma 3 Manajemen logistik dan material. Maersk shipping line adalah perusahaan pelayaran  yang berasal dari Denmark merupakan perusahaan pengangkut peti kemas terbesar di dunia dan memiliki kapal kapal cargo terbesar di dunia.Saya tertarik untuk bekerja di Maersk group karena sesuai dengan jurusan saya DIII manajemen logistik dan material dan juga pasti nya ada tantangan yang besar untuk bisa bekerja di Maersk line karena ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan besar dan juga terbaik dalam bidangnya.Dan karena saya juga tertarik dalam kegiatan logistik di pelabuhan.   DHL merupakan pengiriman ekspres internasional, jasa ekspedisi global melalui udara, laut, jalan raya dan kereta api, pergudangan dari kemasan hingga perbaikan dan penyimpanan,pengiriman surat di seluruh dunia dan jasa logistik lainnya yang disesuaikan.Saya juga tertarik bekerja dalam kegiatan  warehousing seperti di perusahaan DHL, yang juga tentu nya sesuai dengan jurusan logistik dan material.DHL juga merupakan perusahaan besar yang sudah banyak dikenal di seluruh dunia.   PT.Agility Internasional merupakan perusahaan logistik yang berasal dari timur tenggah dan kini telah menjadi  the largest logistics company in the Middle East dan telah beroperasi di 100 negara yang salah satu nya di Indonesia.Saya tertarik untuk bekerja di PT.Agility karena telah melihat secara langsung kegiatan dan proses logistik di warehouse agility pada saat kunjungan ilmiah . natural disasters because of natural factors eg volcanic eruptions, landslides, tsunami, earthquakes, etc. and natural disasters caused by human factors such as floods, fires, etc

And Indonesia has BNPB (Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Alam ) / natural disaster countermeasures agencies.BNPB help in the prevention before natural disasters occur or when giving assistance to the victims of the disaster

E-commerce is a a process selling goods or products by via online or can called as a business online.together with development advance technology and communication and increase amount smartphone user in Indonesia this make people interesting to open business online because Ecommerce get faster profit and always grow up. . But Ecommerce have advantages and disadvantages .

there are many of advantages shopping by online. Such as:
1. Easy to find products. You just need either your smartphone or others gadget and internet connection to find out what things you're looking for.
2. Its 24/7. Which means you can shop for any time you want to.
3. More reach to costumers. Easy way to sell products.
4. Low operational and better quality of services. We just need a good system to make all things run well. We also don't need to rent or buy any buildings. 
5. Easily select products without moving around. Which means even you're still in your blanket because you're just waking, up you still can go online shopping.

But e-commerce also have their own disadvantages. Such as:
1. There are many bad sites. Like we know we all have our competitors and trust is NO. 1 issue in this industry actually all industries. 
2. Mechanical failures. Hang is a bad one and also the moment when sites run down.

And this is E-commerce goals:
1. On Time Delivery. Every costumers want that service. They even expected like a flash delivery.
2. No Damage. Right package is everything. 
3. No Missing. Which costumers expect for that??!
4. Tracking by.All of us definitely want to be able tracking our orders.
